Bay Area Hypnotherapy Clients are promised the following rights:
REDRESS: We are certified members of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and we practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you have a complaint about our services or behavior that we cannot resolve with you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at P.O. Box 308, Merrimack, NH, 03054-0308, PH: (603) 429-9438, to seek redress. Other services than ours may be available to you in the community. You may locate such providers in the telephone book.
FEES: We appreciate all fees being paid at each session. If you need to change or cancel an appointment time, please let us know as soon as possible. There will be a standard fee charge a 1-hour session for appointments canceled less than 24-hours in advance. We accept Visa, MC, cash and personal checks for payment.
CONFIDENTIALITY: We will not release any information to anyone without a written authorization from you, except as provided for by law. Additionally, you have the right to be allowed access to our written record about you.
INSURANCE: We suggest you think of our services as something that you will pay for personally. That will both protect your privacy and help you value the work you are doing more. In general, insurance companies do not like to cover hypnosis services, and I caution you not to expect them to do so.

We also maintain Certified Memberships with the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) and with the International Registry of Hypnotherapists (IRPH). These associations also require proof of continuing education credits to maintain membership.
We were each trained in hypnotherapy byDebi Livingston. Debi is a Board Certified Hypnotist and Instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists. If a client needs or desires a diagnosis of any type of treatment for any illness, symptom or condition, the client should seek such services elsewhere.
In the event our services are terminated by a client, the client has a right to coordinated transfer of services to another practitioner.
